The new season got underway last Friday in the area, The Rusty had a good start to the season following a 4-3 win in O’Donnell’s with Hugh Doherty’s win in the two pointer singles making the difference, 4-3 was also the final score in Evelyn’s with the match also being decided by the two pointer match were James Byrne beat Dylan Kelly, Aidan McGinley hit a 180 for the young team from John Eoinín’s. Kilcar House got maximum points in their 7-0 win in The Rusty versus the B side, Roger McShane hit a 180. A number of our players attended the Donegal Open on Saturday in Ballybofey with Andrew Gillespie and John Menchia reaching the last 16 where 133 players entered and Owen Carr got to the youths semis.
